Transmission of knowledge
Just as the surgeons at the Center Main Paris Monceau (CMPM) have acquired their know-how from their peers in France and internationally, they consider it essential to continue sharing knowledge and surgical skills with junior surgeons.
With this in mind, a Fellowship program, varying from a few days to several months, has been developed.
This program aims to facilitate the transfer of specialized knowledge in hand and shoulder surgery to French or foreign colleagues.
Dr Mohamed-Ali CHOUCHENE, Kassab Institute, Tunis, TUNISIA
Taking advantage of the advice and expertise of the Center Main Paris Monceau (CMPM) team represents an exceptional opportunity. During my Fellowship program, I had the privilege of observing an average of ten procedures performed by CMPM surgeons every day. This experience allowed me to acquire knowledge of innovative surgical techniques and to participate in discussions around complex clinical cases. Currently we are developing, en collaboration between our two countries, an innovative research protocol in hand surgery.

Following my extensive training in Beirut, Paris, and the United States, I will soon join a renowned clinic in the United Arab Emirates to develop a specialization in upper limb surgery, inspired by the cutting-edge practices of the Center Main Paris Monceau (CMPM). ). During a recent stay in Paris, I seized the opability to discuss complex cases involving the shoulder and hand with the CMPM team. This experience allowed me to observe innovative surgical techniques, particularly in the treatment of chronic acromioclavicular instability, thus enriching my surgical practice.
